Many fear the end of independent web content. Blogs, always indicators of the web community's creative health, are terminally ill. Last month, Zeldman and company launched Independents Day to celebrate and promote the creation of independent web content. Aortal has joined the battle, with a suggestion for web creators: "At least once a week, use your site to promote another in the independent web." Once a week? I don't even post that often.

I admit it... I've been holding out on you. In February, I discovered a couple of rather irritating holes in IE5/Mac's CSS2 support. I even promised to tell you all about it. For those of you who care, IE5/Mac does not like this or this. Shame on me - I have neglected you for too long.
