It's too bad that the winning entry in the 2001 5k Contest breaks in IE5/Mac. I think it's safe to assume that the 5k judges don't use that browser. My condolences to IE5/Mac users. My congratulations to the winner.

BlueRobot is looking for a new home. Currently, this site is served by a slow, overtaxed machine somewhere at my employer's Indiana office. If two people were to simultaneously view BlueRobot, I believe the server would implode. Yes, it's time to move this three-month-old collection of bytes. I just need to find an affordable hosting company that supports Active Server Pages. If you know of such a company, I'd appreciate a recommendation. Better yet, if you maintain a web server, let's make a deal.

Sweet silence, why must I interrupt you? Are the words that I offer more valuable than your simple beauty? Doubtful. But I must speak to draw attention to the words of others - words that are worthy of the silence that they displace: the shrill squawking at Rude Parrot, the relentless bike riding and link posting at Little Green Weblog, the engaging personal narrative at Greasy Skillet, the brilliant shenanigans and propaganda at Jeffrey Zeldman Presents, and the cooperative commentary at bareSquare.

Yesterday, I registered my team in the world's largest trivia competition: 90FM's Trivia. On April 20, 21, and 22, roughly 600 teams will spend 54 hours competing for nothing more tangible than a handful of trophies. Relatively inexperienced, this will be the fourth year that my team has participated in the annual contest. Near-impossible questions and sleep deprivation - what's not to love?
